One Month

I know Dusty and I are not married yet, but we are only ONE MONTH AWAY FROM THE WEDDING!!! How exciting!?! It seems like May 16, 2009 (the day Dusty proposed) was just yesterday. I know June 25, 2010 is coming fast, but it still seems so far away. Dusty and I have been planning and preparing for this day for over a year. I continue to go over every detail to make sure everything is just the way I want it to be on our special day. However, no matter how much we try to prepare ourselves and how many times we go over the details, things may not be perfect. The one thing we have to remember, especially myself, is the only thing that matters on our wedding day is Dusty and I. June 25, 2010 will be about us; it won't be about the music, the gifts, or the readings. It will be about Dusty and I being united in marriage while being surrounding by our family and friends and God. I can't imagine getting married anywhere else, but a church!! There is no better way to see God's intentions for us than in a church, hence the reason I didn't even consider any other location for the ceremony.

Like I said at the beginning of this blog, I know Dusty and I aren't married yet, but I am so excited to start blogging. I have been following a few blogs and everytime I read new posts I can't help, but want to start a blog for Dusty and I. God has led two lives to take one path. This blog will be the story of how Dusty and I are making our two lives into one path. Enjoy!!
